The VTech 5881 Merges Function, Style And Ease Of Use

The VTech 5881 is a good-looking telephone. It’s a cordless that combines attractive design with an impressive list of features. Its silver faceplate and clear-as-a-bell LCD display allows it to fit in any home or office setting. It balances simple operation with a number of advanced features that makes using caller ID, call waiting and other services incredibly easy.

The telephone is wall-mountable, making it both convenient and space-saving for those with limited counter space. This feature also allows you to place it permanently out of reach of small children to prevent accidental, unwanted phone calls. Even better, the VTech 5881 has a speakerphone option, allowing you to take important phone calls hands free to allow you to write down important details while you talk or to keep both hands available if you need to use the telephone while cooking dinner.

It’s an understatement to refer to the VTech 5881 as feature-rich. In addition to the aforementioned extras, owners will find themselves ready to handle conference calls and to use the phone for intercom purposes. Easy voicemail access and a handset indicator also make its long list of features. You’ll never need to worry about losing your phone under the sofa or in the bedroom again. This cordless includes a locator button on the base unit that will produce a distinctive signal from the handset, allowing you to find your phone in record time!

If you’re looking for a top-of the line telephone, you’ll be more than pleased with the VTech 5881. It’s the perfect merger of style, function and ease-of use. However, you won’t want to get your own until you’ve done some smart shopping. Take time to compare various vendors’ prices and to look at important matters like repair procedures, customer service, and the availability of an extended warranty before you purchase a phone.

You won’t find many phones that can rival the VTech 5881 in terms of overall quality, range of features or price. This rock-solid telephone option retails for slightly under $300 and it’s possible to find used or refurbished models for less! That creates an opportunity to own a top-of-the-line phone at bargain prices.

HTC Hero

Introducing the HTC Hero Smartphone. The Google Android phone you have been waiting for. Supercharged by Google’s Android operating system the Hero is one to own. The design of the phone is daring to say the least. Most recent phones have all become slick shapeless blobs as they have all lost their hard lines and angles. This HTC Smartphone is very angular. The phone feels more rugged and tough than rest of phones on the market today. The angles make for a more comfortable and natural feel in your hand.

Keypad, Display & Browser – Just like the latest Google Android smartphones the display is multitouch with a vibrant 480-320 screen. The WebKit browser makes good use of the multitouch feature with pinch to zoom out and spread to zoom in. Flash support is also incorporated into the core WebKit browser. The brightness is similar to other phones of this type but feels warmer than most. If you are a little worried about on-screen keyboards, don’t be. The keyboard is particularly good on this phone. There are three keyboard layouts in both portrait and landscape modes. The standard full QWERTY keyboard, a phone keypad and a cut down version of QWERTY – which has two letters per key. The full QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode is a dream to type fast with.

Widgets – The HTC Hero Smartphone is loaded with a slew of new applications and widgets. Most of which are HTC unique, meaning you won’t be seeing them on non HTC phones. The standard clock and weather widgets are present but there are interesting widgets like the Twitter widget. This enables you to read recent tweets or update your status without having to open the Twitter app. The Hero comes with multiple desktop themes, each with different backgrounds, widgets and shortcuts. You can customise these and save your configurations as well. Switching between these themes, or scenes as they are called, takes only a couple of seconds and lets you completely rearrange your entire desktop almost instantly. Use one scene for home and one for work, this lets you organise better.

Social Networking – The Hero Smartphone asks for your Facebook, Twitter and Flickr logins when you first turn it on. One thing I like is after you log in to Facebook it does not dump all 500 of your Facebook friends into your contacts list; it keeps the list in the background for when you need it. The Facebook connection here is deeper and more useful than the likes of the Palm Pre. While scrolling down your phone contacts if you have linked someone to a Facebook profile you can view their most recent status. In the contact tab you can view all the usual information such as phone numbers, email addresses, photos, birthday and all recent txt messages and conversions. Also displayed are email history, recent Facebook updates and Flickr photo albums.

The Hero Smartphone is the best Google Android driven phone to date. The features such as integrated profile and unique widgets combined with the phone’s design and interface make this the best smartphone to date. This is the best alternative to the iPhone and Palm Pre.

Striking Cell Phone Gizmos – An Opportunity for Celebrities to Reflect their Styles

Common people were always interested in the lifestyles of celebrities, their hobbies and their personal interests that they follow. As they belong to the colorful life, their choices are also varied and unpredictable. With many glamour magazines up in the market, you will surely have daily updates about your favorite celebrities and their new hobbies and interests. Celebrities are always spotted talking on their cell phones and this can be seen in the glamour magazines. There are few personalities that stand apart from these fashioned and stylish celebrities though belonging to the same glamour field.

Danger’s T-Mobile Sidekick II is always in the news as this fashionable well-received cell phone is endorsed by famous personalities like Lindsay Lohan and Nichole Richie. Paris Hilton once used this cell phone and this created hype when it was hacked and all the news and other confidential matter was disclosed on the internet. Today, the most prominent people in the White House use BlackBerry, which is also widely accepted by the executive class.

Up next, another handset that was well acclaimed was the Motorola RAZR V3, which was distributed as a complimentary gift in the recent Academy Awards. Jennifer Lopez used the Nokia’s 7280 model phone in her “Get Right” video at the Academy Awards.

Well, who can forget Britney Spears from the list? When she was sent to a rehabilitation center, the only device or gadget that she carried with her was her cell phone. She changed her cell phones as frequently as the hue in her hair and was known to everyone in the world. In a recent activity, she exchanged as many as 5 cell phones namely the LG enV, Blackberry 8700c, Sidekick LX and the most recently launched the Samsung u740.

When Apple released their iPhone, it was in demand among the famous celebrities. Paparazzi guys always spotted Lindsay Lohan with her iPhone in the beginning stages but later she was spotted with her Blackberry. In fact, the reason Blackberry was preferred over others is the superior messaging service and also Apple does not collaborate with gifting organizations.

As a matter of fact, many organizations come forward for a tie-up with handset makers for the purpose of distributing these free of cost products. Palm Treo’s and Nokia handsets were circulated at major events like the Venice Film Festival and the World Music Awards.

Tennis heartthrob Maria Sharapova used the extremely hot girly pink-colored MOTORAZR phone and this phone became an instant hit. It was also handed out for free to celebrities for creating buzz for this handset and the associated brand. It has already sold out over a million units. Endorsements which are done by celebrities are extremely beneficial to the manufacturers of the cell phones and for this reason these companies shell out these handsets for free.

Even though most of the celebrities have the freedom to choose any cell phone they would desire to use, few preferences are still maintained in using different cell phones which reflect their different personalities.
