George Clooney’s Cool ‘Up In The Air’

Based on the novel by Walter Kirn, George Clooney stars as corporate downsizing expert Ryan Bingham, who is hired to help ease the transition of long-term employees to the unemployment line across the country.

He takes his job very seriously and loves the 290 days away from home. The only problem is the 70 days at home which he has to spend in his empty apartment. One fine day his world turns upside-down when a young upstart in the company threatens to ground the company by firing people via the internet.

Not standing for a change in his life, nor the chance for his life goal of total airline miles to end, he goes on a mission to prove how personal his job is. He realizes how key a face to face meeting can be to talk down an emotionally unstable person and really do the victim a service in an otherwise horrible moment in his life.

Clooney’s Bingham is the loner businessman whose only relationships exist from random meetings with attractive females at the multiple airports he frequents. His wallet of plastic has become his life.

Credit cards from airlines that accumulate his mileage, hotel status perk cards that let him cut the disgruntled travelers and go straight to the front, and numerous room keys that never seem to be thrown out, causing him to always use more than one before finally opening his hotel suite’s door.

Detached from his family for years as the brother that exists but cannot be counted on for anything, he contemplates whether he should, or really wants to, attend his sister’s wedding-the little girl of the family and someone he should have been involved with after the passing of their father.

A series of style cramping incidents for him begins with a phone call from his other sister and the request to take a cardboard cutout of the happy couple. Then comes the threat of being taken out of the air, his home for decades, in order to impersonally let go more people more efficiently; the challenge of taking Natalie on his next schedule of jobs to prove to her why the new system won’t work; and the addition of a love interest in Vera Farmiga’s Alex.

The real success story of the film is a performance from Clooney who really knocks this on out of the park. He always showed the charisma and chops to play confident and successful, but here is allowed to also branch out and express the pent-up frustration that comes with isolated loneliness.

Hrithik Roshan’s most awaited movie ‘Kites’ is finally set to sizzle the screens! It has been almost two years since Jodhaa Akbar hit the theatres and a small role in the movie Luck By Chance, Hrithik Roshan hasn’t been seen on-screen.

The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to give the film a major release. There are two versions of the movie, one meant for the overseas market and the other for Hamara Bharath. The movie already seem to grab the attention of the public, rumours about Suzanne Roshan had left the house with her two kids last year after the stories that the actor was getting too close to Mexican babe Barbara Mori. Hrithik had hurried home from abroad and convinced Suzanne to return home.

The ‘first-look’ trailer of the Hindi version will be unveiled in 1700 screens worldwide on February 12 while the English trailer of the mega-budget flick will be released shortly after on 1000 screens. The two minute promo of Kites will be shown with MY NAME IS KHAN and is loaded with some sizzling chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori. Kites hasn’t been the best of experiences for Roshan’s and the entire team including Anurag Basu and Barbara Mori will breathe a sigh of relief once the movie hits the theatres.

In the harsh terrain of the Mexican desert, a mortally wounded man is left for death in the heat of the desert sun. This is Jai (Hrithik Roshan) – once a street smart, carefree, young guy and now a wanted man.

The only thing that keeps him alive is the quest to find the love of his life, Natasha (Barbara Mori). A woman, engaged to another man, but surely destined for Jai. A woman, who comes into his life like a bolt of lightning, and changes it forever.

Kites is a story of love that goes beyond barriers, boundaries and cultures. It is a story of passion that defies every rule, of a relationship that takes two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with precious moments and unexpected betrayal.

Biker Romance

When I received the Novel “Iron Horse Rider” from the Author Adelle “Legs” Laudan I have to admit I was expecting a book about a Biker fighting and causing trouble. You know your Typical Biker Bad Boy Story. What I received was something I was not expecting at all.

The Novel Tells the story of a hardcore biker named Shane, Shane had always kept women at arms length and showed them no emotion, That was until he met Kelly. Try as he might this biker who had always kept to himself could not fight off his feelings for her and soon found himself Married to the Women of his dreams.

After 10 years of Marriage Kelly is taken from Shane in a Tragic accident while they are Ridding. Shane finds everything around him reminds him of Kelly, His home, his shop, even his Clubhouse. His Brother’s try to Support and comfort him, but the looks of sorrow in their eyes for him is more then Shane can bare. He soon realizes staying in the world He has Known and loved is not an option. Soon Shane is on his Iron Horse with the wind in his face and no destination! As Shane rides He finds the pain he feels for his loss begin to lessen!

With advice from a Mysterious Biker he keeps running into, Shane finds himself at a Micmac Indian Camp. Shane is welcomed into the Camp by the Tribes Chief and soon finds himself becoming Friends with the Chief’s Daughter Tia who has recently lost her Husband! While the two Share their pain they soon begin to feel something for each other. Is it possible for either of them to feel love again while still suffering from such a great loss? A member of Tia’s Tribe is taking no chances and tells Shane to stay away from Tia. He soon finds out you never tell a Biker like Shane what to do!

I found the writing in this novel while in no way simplistic was easy to read. I also found the story easy to follow ! Adelle “Legs” Laudan describes and expresses the feelings of Biker Brotherhood perfectly. When She explains Shane’s feelings while Riding you can see in your mind where he is and you can almost feel the wind in your Face!

In life we all have our worlds we live in, When something Terrible happens sometimes We cling to what We know. Shane does what He as a true Biker must after such a terrible loss, He goes out and finds not only a new life but a new World to live in for a while.

I have to say I enjoyed the story. It was not what I was expecting or would usually read but I found I could not put the book down. I think some Men who Ride will enjoy this book, While many I feel will find it a little too much of a Romance novel! I do believe almost all Women who has ever ridden a Motorcycle or dated a Man who rode one will love this Novel.

Date Night at Home – Romantic Movies That Will Make You Laugh

Is romance in your relationship always so serious? How is that working out for you and your husband? Maybe it’s time to try humor.

Which do you think your husband would choose if put to the test: a) Watch the beautifully romantic tear-jerker movie, The Notebook or b) do anything that doesn’t involve watching The Notebook.

Of course, my husband would rather watch paint dry than sit through a seriously romantic movie like The Notebook or Somersby. He’s romantic, but none of that “mushy” and “bittersweet” stuff for him. A few belly laughs mixed in with some tender lovey-dovey moments is what he’s all about.

Our date nights usually involve Ben Stiller, Bill Murray, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson, Matt Dillon, or Jim Carrey. Those men don’t know this, but they’re a huge part of what makes our marriage such a joy. The fact that our date nights consist of a fun movie instead of a forced moment means that my husband is happy and relaxed; two very good things for romance.

If your husband is like mine, he’s feeling the same need for romance with a healthy dose of belly laughs. These are some of our favorite fun movies.

The Princess Bride (1987): At the start of the movie, Grandpa is reading the story of The Princess Bride to his grandson, who is appalled when he thinks the book is all about kissing, since that’s how the story starts. If your husband is also appalled to watch a romantic movie all about kissing, he’s in for a pleasant surprise; just like the grandson. We’re talking Pirates, sword fighting, battles, castles, an evil Prince, and a beautiful Princess, all wrapped up in a very funny story, full of grown up humor, which will have you hooked on this romantic comedy forever more.

Groundhog Day (1993): This movie is not only funny, it’s a look into human potential for love and living life through the repetition of one, dreary Groundhog Day… over and over and over… until a miserably cryptic weatherman, played by Bill Murray, can get it right. Through the process, he tries to figure out how to win the love of the woman who, well, starts out really not liking him in the least. The movie is a classic and one that you’ll want to watch over and over and over and over…

Wedding Crashers (2005): Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn are at their hilarious best in this movie. They are two divorce mediators all week and ‘wedding crashers’ on the weekend. They don’t just sneak into weddings to meet women, they make themselves part of the party. They dance, get in the pictures, and make up stories about who they know… and everyone believes them. Eventually, you know there has to be a love entanglement or two. There are some love and life lessons to learn. You’ll enjoy this light-hearted pick.

The Wedding Singer (1998): This is a great romp through the 80’s. The settings, the songs, the clothes, and the bad wedding music, are all very nostalgic and fun. Robbie, the wedding singer, goes through some rough spots when his fiance drops him. Julia, the waitress, is going to marry a man who doesn’t deserve her. Robbie and Julia team up as good friends and, well, the right thing happens for everyone. You’ll enjoy Adam Sandler’s depiction of Robbie; right down to the hair style! And, ladies, you’ll get a tear or two when Robbie sings ‘Grow Old With You’. Relax, laugh, and cuddle. This is a winner.

Fun With Dick and Jane (2005): Dick and Jane’s ‘good life’ comes to an abrupt halt when their plans for a comfortable future crumble with the collapse of the company stock, pension fund, and Dick’s job. Dick, as a middle manager, gets hung out to dry and blamed for the stock collapse. Humiliated, Dick and Jane snap and start doing whatever they can to hang on, which includes going on a wildly funny blue-collar crime spree. But, things change and they end up getting retribution for their co-workers and revenge on the person who really caused the collapse. Jim Carrey is hilariously funny, but with a very gentle heart. You’ll be cheering the victors at the end.

Love Actually (2003): This movie portrays eight stories of love in its many forms. The stories show romantic love, as well as love of a father for his son, love between siblings, and love of friendship. It’s a beautiful story that shows that Love Actually is all around. These stories are funny on so many levels, but also deeply touching. Get your hanky ready and snuggle up.

Romance doesn’t need to be serious. It can, and should, be fun! Just relax a little and enjoy each other. Go grab a funny, romantic movie, snuggle up with your hubby and enjoy yourselves.

RomanceYourHusband.com is dedicated to helping married couples stay friends and to help them remember why they married each other in the first place. Whether you’re looking for words to show your love or cheap romantic ideas, we can help.

Taiwanese Dating Tips – How To Date Taiwanese Women

Are you looking to date a Taiwanese girl? Have you failed to impress her in the past? Well, you need to understand that their cultural heritage influences their thoughts. They are a different species and not like European or American girls.

Many men may have dated a Taiwanese woman once but they are not able to get past it. They do not know what to do next. Even as the western culture has influenced Asians, they still have their own aspirations that need to be understood to get success.

Do not do what all others are doing. Do not praise her looks a lot. Have a good sense of humor but do not overdo it. Try to talk to her and get her started talking about herself. You just need to start the conversation.

Any Taiwanese girl will love to see you having other Asians in your social circle. So do not confine yourself to her and make other friends. She will respond better to you.

They will love to talk about their family. So ask her about her family members especially her younger brother, if she has one. Family bonds are stronger in Asian families and they have greater respect for each other. She will always love to talk about her family.

Sometimes she may try to test you. Do not agree to her whims. She may do this to check your honesty. You should refuse her in some cases. Do not overdo anything. Honesty is more important for her. She may also need to know about your family values.
