ABC’s Lost is definitely up there with Dexter, The Wire, and Arrested Development as one of the best TV programs of the 21st century! As a guy who has already seen every episode of all 6 seasons of Lost, I’m am still thinking about buying the complete collection of Lost on Blu-Ray because this is the kind of show that will be great to view a second time (and there’s a lot of great bonus features included in the complete series box set.)

If you are new to Lost then I’m actually jealous of you to be able to experience it for the very 1st time still. It’s really that good, I’m serious. It’s the type of TV series that you are likely to remember for the rest of your days.

To really get the most out of the experience you really want to buy the complete Lost DVD box set and then avoid all spoilers as much as you can. A great part of the show is having the “mysteries of the island” revealed slowly in unexpected ways. Do not ruin that for yourself by looking up spoilers about the show!

You must also watch it from start to finish with every episode in order. This is a real “serial” where every episode leads to the next one. It is all “one big story” rather than a show where every episode (or even season) has it’s own beginning and end.

I really should warn anyone reading this that this show is very addictive and that you may find yourself watching seven episodes in just one day (yes I actually did this on more than one occasion!) It’s one of those things where every episode really has you wanting to know what happens on the next episode.

I must also mention that this is a thinking person’s show. What is happening will not always be obvious. If you’re seeking outs stupid mindless entertainment, you should look somewhere else. You will have to make regular use of your brain when you watch Lost.
